Meet The Doctor
Dr. Wallis grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to the Bozeman area in 2016. He earned a BA in Humanities from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and then moved back to Ohio in 2004 to attend dental school at the Ohio State University. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2008, he entered active duty service in the United States Air Force. As a Captain in the Dental Corps, he attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Wallis and his family then moved to Spokane, Washington where he served as a dental officer at Fairchild AFB. After completing his service with the Air Force, Dr. Wallis began residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Along with proficiency in the full scope of oral and facial surgical procedures, this rigorous four-year residency program included training in adult and pediatric anesthesia, internal medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, trauma surgery, plastic surgery, ENT head and neck surgery and critical care medicine.
Dr. Wallis is board-certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He enjoys providing excellent care to the patients of Southwest Montana. His clinical interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, tooth extraction, and outpatient anesthesia.
Dr. Wallis is an anesthesia inspector for the Montana Board of Dentistry and also serves as the vice president of the Montana Dental Association. He and his wife, Karen, have been married since 2002 and have four children.
